The Athlete Factory 6 Step Sequence


Every athlete follows this sequence.

 

1.  Movement and Mobility
       Proper motor and movement skills are taught.  Emphasizing these movements improves performance.

2.  Coordination /  Balance
       Coordinated movements precede all strength training.

3.  Strength
       Strength is the ability to overcome.

4.  Speed
       The ability to perform movements in the shortest time.

5.  Power
       Power is force x velocity or the rate at which work is done.  We will teach the athlete to apply as much force as possible in the shortest length of time.

6.  Endurance
       Endurance is the ability to maintain work over time with adequate efficiency and intensity.

 

We make sure all athletes stay in this sequence.  Almost all athletes
 are out of sequence.  We work to get them back in sequence.
